Summary
- You give us your name, email address and phone number when you register. We store them in our database.
- We use them to give you access and to contact you about your account. If you tick the optional promotional box, we also use them for promotional activities: offers, product updates and marketing messages.
- Your PDF and image files are processed in your browser. We do not receive or store them.
- You can withdraw promotional consent at any time, and ask for your data to be corrected or erased, using the forms below.

What we collect

We do not collect the contents of the PDF and image files you work on.
Your browser keeps a small note on your device (in local storage) that says you are registered, so you do not have to register again. The first time you use the OCR tools your browser may also keep language data for text recognition. Neither contains your documents. You can clear them in your browser settings or with "Sign out on this browser" in the page footer.
Why we use it
- To give you access. Registration unlocks the free tools on this site.
- To contact you about your account or respond to your requests, for example a privacy request or a support question.
- To keep the service safe, for example to stop automated sign-ups.
- To prove what you agreed to, using our consent records.
- For promotional activities, only if you agree. See the next section.
We do not sell your personal data.
Promotional use of your details
Your name, email address and phone number may be used for Luvkaam's promotional activities, such as offers, product updates and marketing messages sent by email, SMS, WhatsApp and phone calls, if you tick the optional promotional box when you register.
This box is not ticked by default. Free access to the tools does not depend on it. If you do not tick it, we use your details only for the purposes above and do not send you promotional messages.
- We send promotional SMS and calls only through channels set up for that purpose and respect your Do Not Disturb preferences.
- Every promotional email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time. It is as easy to withdraw as to give: use the form in the next section but one. After you withdraw, we stop promotional messages. Messages about your account or a request you made may still be sent.
Your files
PDF and image tools run inside your browser. Your files are opened and processed on your own device and are not uploaded to Luvkaam. The "Summarise" tool also runs on your device and does not send text to an AI service.
To run some tools, your browser downloads open-source helper code (for PDF handling, OCR and encryption) from the jsDelivr content delivery network. That provider can see that your browser requested the code, including your IP address, but it does not receive your files or text.
Because processing happens locally, results depend on your device. We cannot recover a file or a password for you.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and stores registration data in its D1 database. Data may be processed on Cloudflare's global network, including outside India.
- jsDelivr delivers the helper code described above.
- Authorities. We may disclose data if the law requires it or a competent authority lawfully asks for it.
If we later use an email, SMS or WhatsApp service provider to send messages, it will process your details only on our instructions, and we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
- Registration details: while your registration is active. If you ask us to erase your data, we delete it within 30 days after we confirm your identity, unless the law requires us to keep something.
- Consent records: we keep a record that you consented or withdrew for as long as needed to show we followed your choices and the law.
- Privacy requests: for as long as needed to handle and document the request.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or to update it;
- ask us to erase your data;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- make a complaint (grievance) to us, and nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to.
Send a request with this form. For your safety we confirm your identity by replying to the email address you give before we share, change or delete anything.
Withdraw consent for promotional messages
Enter the email address you registered with. We will stop using your details for promotional activities straight away.

Grievance officer
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our grievance officer first. We aim to acknowledge your complaint promptly and resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, as the law provides.
Age limit
Luvkaam is for people aged 18 and over. The registration form asks you to confirm this. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the registration.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Registration data is stored in Cloudflare's database and is accessible only to the people who run Luvkaam. We use security headers, input checks and abuse controls. No online service is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data in a way that matters, we will update this page and the version date above. If the change needs your fresh consent, we will ask for it before we rely on it.
