Convert PDF files
PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, PDF to Word, Word to PDF and PDF to Excel are useful conversion workflows. Tools are being introduced in stages; check each tool's availability before use.
Extract text with OCR
Use image to text OCR to extract words from JPG, PNG and WEBP images. Text-based PDF extraction works for PDFs that contain selectable text. Scanned PDF OCR is a separate capability.

Is Luvkaam free to use?
Luvkaam is designed to offer supported tools free after registration. The current prototype only implements some features; unavailable tools are marked as planned.
Which files can I process right now?
The current working demo supports JPG, PNG and WEBP image OCR and text extraction from PDFs containing selectable text, with a 10 MB file limit.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Scanned PDF OCR and reliable PDF-to-Word output are not fully implemented in this prototype. Do not rely on those features until their tool pages show they are available.
Does Luvkaam store uploaded files?
The current image OCR and PDF text extraction run in your browser. AI text tasks send the text you submit to the selected AI provider through the backend. Review the privacy policy before using sensitive documents.
Do I need to register?
Yes, the planned free-access experience requires your name, email address and phone number. This prototype checks the format of those fields; SMS one-time-password verification is not yet connected.

How to extract text from an image
Use OCR to recognise printed text in a clear photo. Better lighting, straight alignment and higher resolution can improve recognition accuracy.
How to copy text from a PDF
If a PDF contains selectable text, extract and copy it. If the pages are scanned images, OCR is required before the words can be selected.
PDF conversion and file formats
Choose a conversion based on your goal: JPG for images, PDF for sharing and consistent layout, or editable document formats when you need to change text.

PDF to text converter
Extract text from a text-based PDF when you need to copy, search, edit or reuse its contents. Scanned PDFs that contain only page images need OCR; scanned-PDF OCR is not enabled in this prototype.

Prototype honesty note: Image OCR for JPG/PNG/WEBP and selectable-text extraction from PDFs are implemented. OCR uses Tesseract.js (English) and PDF extraction uses PDF.js, both loaded from a CDN and requiring internet access. Scanned-PDF OCR, merge/compress, Word export, image-to-PDF, Office utilities, server-side processing, accounts, payments, and production-grade security/privacy controls are not implemented. This is a demo, not a production document service.
