Frequently asked questions

Does it read Hindi?

Yes. Choose Hindi, or Hindi and English mixed, before you extract. Printed Devanagari text works best.

Why is my result wrong?

Blur, tilt, shadows and handwriting reduce accuracy. Use a sharper, straighter photo.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Recognition runs in your browser. Only the open-source OCR code is downloaded.
